Core Drivers are currently seeking Class 1 Fuel Tanker Drivers for our New client in Mexborough.

These are Temp – Perm positions.

Full training is being offered with this position, including PDP Training.

As well as fuel deliveries we also do fuel collections/uplifts, full training for the collections is given.

Benefits:

• Hours worked between 00:00 Monday and 23:59 Friday are paid at a rate of £17.85 p/h
• Hours worked between 00:00 Saturday and 23:59 Sunday are paid at a rate of £21 p/h
• Guarantee 40 hours a week (average 55 – 60 hours)
• £30 per night out
• Payment of £10 subject to meeting the driver duties and responsibilities (No tachograph infringements)
• Fuel uplift payment: For each day where a driver is required to carry out a fuel uplift as part of their daily duties an additional £20 payment will be made

In order to apply you must possess the following;

• Full UK Licence with Cat C+E entitlement and a minimum of 1 years’ experience
• A valid PDP is preferred but not essential
• ADR in tanks with relevant class 3
• DCPC and Digital Tacho card

Duties and responsibilities will include;

• Delivering in a safe manner complying with all relevant legal and company procedures
• Driving at all times in a safe and courteous manner
• Monitor and report wear and tear to vehicles
• Prevent and report damage
• Knowledge of regulations surrounding the working time directive and tachographs
• Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
• Carry out start/end checks as per procedure
• Ensure vehicle loaded safely and correctly
• Basic level of numeracy and literacy, in order to complete work documentation

*Driving licence must not exceed 6 points or include CU80, DD, IN10 or DR10 endorsements.

The candidate will be expected to be flexible as this work will include weekends and night’s as well as day working.
